NYHER Asthma Remediation Services help make homes safer for people with asthma. We work to find and fix things in the home that can trigger asthma, like dust, mold, or other allergens. Our team may also provide helpful products to lower or remove these triggers.
Every service is customized to fit the person’s needs and their home, whether they own it or rent it.
Our goal is to help people with asthma in Staten Island breathe easier, feel better, and enjoy a healthier life with their families.
These interventions are free for eligible medicaid recipients, fully funded under the 1115 Waiver.
